From £60 / session Learn moreI'm Sarah Whitmore, a BACP-accredited therapist and qualified life coach based in Liverpool. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties — from anxiety and low mood to relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions of identity and meaning.
My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred therapy, CBT, and mindfulness-based techniques. But more than any method, I believe deeply in the power of a warm, honest therapeutic relationship — one where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and have worked in NHS, charity, and private settings. I receive regular clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development. I am committed to an ethical, compassionate, and culturally sensitive practice.

Coming to therapy felt like the most frightening thing I'd ever done. Within a few sessions with Sarah, I realised I'd found somewhere I could finally be honest. That changed everything for me.
— Client, individual therapy
I wasn't sure coaching was for me, but Sarah helped me see patterns in my thinking I'd never noticed before. I've made decisions in the last six months I'd been avoiding for years.
— Client, life coaching
The mindfulness workshop was gentle, welcoming and completely free of jargon. I came in sceptical and left with tools I still use every single day. Would recommend to anyone.

Do I need a referral?
No — you can contact Still Point Wellness directly. You don't need a GP referral or any prior diagnosis. Simply get in touch and we'll arrange a free initial consultation to talk things through.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone's journey is different. Some people find that 6–8 sessions gives them what they need; others benefit from longer-term work. We'll review this regularly together, and you're always in control of when you're ready to end.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Online sessions via video call are available and work just as well as in-person for most people. They're a good option if you live outside Liverpool, have mobility difficulties, or simply prefer the comfort of your own home.
Is everything I say confidential?
Confidentiality is fundamental to therapy. Everything you share remains private. The only exceptions are very specific safeguarding situations, which will always be explained clearly at the start of our work together.
Reaching out is the hardest part — and you've already done it by being here. Fill in the form and I'll be in touch within one working day.
